For my first stainless steel pan I made mushroom pork chops. They turned out tasty and were falling off the bone. I salt and peppered the pork chops then dredged them in flour. I heated the pan over medium with a few teaspoons of olive oil then browned the chops. I added half a large onion and let them fry until translucent. Then I added 2 can of cream of mushroom soup and bit of water and let them simmer on medium low heat for about an hour and 45 minutes. I served it over mashed potatoes.
I am very happy with my new pan. Nothing stuck to the pan and it cleaned up so easily. It also browned the meat well. Next time I will turn the heat up a bit higher to brown.
